Jeff was a lawyer, until his lisence was withdraw because his college degree is invalid. So he had to study for a college degree. he came to a commuity college.
(Recently a famous IT tycoon Tang is humiliated because his docter degree is granted by a wild-chicken college，Small world ah-ha)
Commuity college which is considered as a loser concertration camp. Here you can meet drop out students of high school. mid-age disvorce guys. old man who refused to admit it. and also someone like Jeff.
When Jeff came to this college, he meet a blonde girl Britta.(What a nice name!)
Jeff want to "hit on" her, so when he knew her warried about her spanish quiz. He organized a spanish study group try to get close to her. Of course it is not easy to succeed. But the study group's members get to know each other and become friends.
At last Britta says "I love you" to Jeff, but Jeff, the No.1 guy seems lost his mind, he says "I don't know" .
Then season 1 finished.

Britta is beautiful. The actress Gillian Jacobs is the same age as me(1982). started from 2005, but she is not so famous. But I think she will be someday.

Jeff get a lexus, but looks not very rich, everyone get a car, but the spanish teacher senor Chueng, rides a motorsycle. Is it implying Asian-Americans are poor?
